May be OK if you need a cheap laptop ASAP and can't wait for BF Deals, which may start appearing in a few weeks.
128GB SSD is a tad small....I prefer 256GB as a minimum. Sure it can be upgraded, but doing so takes quite a bit of tech-savvy since an OS reinstall may be required.
Ryzen 3000 series is a bit older....The 4000 and now 5000 are out.
I would expect to see a 4xxxx at this price when the sales hit.

Yeah this is Zen 1 not even Zen+, on 14nm and a dual core. VERY old CPU that was refreshed, performance is abysmal.
More than strong enough to handle whatever non-AAA gaming software you throw at it lol...
Rofl. This is how AMD trick ppl into thinking it's a good processor because it's only a year old. This is basically a slower version of 3300u which came out end of 2018.

Its a refresh which means its essentially an old CPU rebadged to seem modern to fools like you. This chip originally came out in January 2018, and AMD just slapped a new paint of coat on it.
"The specifications are similar to the older Ryzen 3 3200U with the lower max. operating temperature (95 °C versus 105 °C) being the only difference between the two."
"In comparison to the faster Ryzen 3000 CPUs, the 3250U is not using the newer Zen+ microarchitecture and is still manufactured in 14nm. Compared to the old Ryzen 3 2200U, the 3200U therefore only offers a slightly higher clock speed."
2200U which is basically the same was announced in January 2018....
Same specs besides slightly different frequency and max temp between all 3 with almost identical performance, wonder why... Because they are the same chip.
Yes I wish the RYZEN 3 bashers would go away. Or post an alternate that has 4 or 5000. They are fast enough. I have two Ryzen 3's and both are plenty fast but one has this SATA3 and thus updates and starting a program is slower than necessary. That is actually a bigger problem.
If it's anything like the Intel i3 version from last year, 2020 (which I'm pretty sure it is) the screen's viewing angles are pretty bad. You can't move very far off center before things start looking washed out. That said, for average desktop tasks, and even casual Netflix viewing, it's probably tolerable. And if you're right on center, it's actually decent. But if you're picky about the screen, you won't be happy with it; it reminds me of a screen on a laptop I bought back in 2012.

No thanks. NVME only. NVME is six times faster.

Price stands out better at the end or beginning of titles.
