Right, except the cost of goods, services, and living has increased since the pandemic. The cost of containers to ship these and labor have increased. Coupled with the fact that there's a huge chip shortage.

Nothing is going to cost what it did in 2019.

Why would you want to up the RAM to 32GB? 16GB is enough for a gamer......more RAM does not equal more performance especially when the graphics card is throttled down to performance like a 3060.

Unless OP is doing some hardcore photo/video editing, or heavy software rendering like simulations or running virtual machines, I agree with you. 16GB is the sweet spot right now. Anything extra is usually just wasted resources.
