Bought 3 pair of 38x32 in May for the same price. The reviews reporting irregular sizing were true in my experience. Waist was pretty snug. Thought they might work out but fit more like a 37 after a wash & dry.
Waist way to tight
Mega high waisted mom jeans from the late 80's early 90's are back in style for women now. I'd say we're getting close to coming full circle on relaxed fit & cargo shorts men. Hang in there & leave the skinny's for the hipsters, lol.

are these worth anything? knowing amazon's quality ,compared to a product you would find in stores, and the reviews here I would probally avoid. I have had many good quality work pants from this brand, but I'm seeing product defects all across the reviews. Stuff you shouldn't see with this brand.
If there are defects, it has nothing to do with Amazon's quality. Amazon doesn't make these pants. Maybe the QC at Dickie's has gone downhill. Maybe they send reject pants to Amazon(doubtful). Either way, Dickie's quality should be in question in this case.
Do I want to be known as moss green pants guy for a day? 🤔
If anyone judges your carpenter jeans based on the color, rather than simply because they're carpenter jeans, their opinion on fashion doesn't mean much. If you're buying these as work pants, to serve some practical purpose, the color shouldn't matter that much. If you're wearing these to your uncle grandpa's youngest daughter's wedding, go with black.

Defects happen regardless of brand, even in the more expensive Carhartt and Duluth Trading brands.
Boys, it's time to move on from relaxed fit. It looks dated and not worth the deal. By no means am I implying everyone needs skinny, but get something more form fitting. It's not 1998

I can confirm that the waist is 'snug' and the legs on the long side. I'm actually wearing one of the two pairs I bought back in May and I LOVE these pants. They look good and more importantly they are durable and well made! For this price it's a no brainer, so I'm buying a few more pairs!

Literally said I am not implying you get skinny jeans. Baggy pants for men are not making a comeback anytime soon.

You're right you didn't, just joking and to each their own. I'd consider these light weight work pants on a job site, in the wood shop or working in the back yard, so not concerned about them not being more form fitting or fashionable. To give room to move and go overtop of a boot, straight leg is best imo. If you're buying them to wear out and about without the intention of getting them dirty I see your point.
