Not sure who downvoted this or why, but i am concerned with this fine print

To qualify for the offer, International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number cannot have been associated with a Mint Mobile plan within 90 days of activation.

So, if someone was on Mint, and left for less than 3 months, they cannot enroll for this sim.
For those asking, they're not checking IMEI's. If you're already on Mint you will need to get a new number though which is perfect for the Google Voice folks. Just use your head, when you register on their website choose to do so by brand and model of your phone, not your IMEI.

Got super lucky on this... bought a $30/ 3 month 10gb card at Best Buy just around 45 days ago. Held off activating it while running down another plan I was on, activated that sim 2 days ago. They gave me 6 months on the 3 month card!! Couldn't figure out what was going on, now that I see this new deal I know.

Limited time offer available from 10/10/21 to 1/7/22.
New Mint Mobile customers who purchase any 3-month plan from Best Buy in store or on their website will receive 3-months for free.
Free 3-month plan applied as a discount at checkout and customer will receive a 6-month plan in total.
Plan activation must occur by 1/7/22 for in-store purchase otherwise plan activation must occur within 45 days of purchase.
Offer limited to three (3) per customer and may not be combined with other offers. Plans renew as a 6-month plan at full price.

Note: To qualify for the offer, International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number cannot have been associated with a Mint Mobile plan within 90 days of activation.

I'm still on month #1 of the previous $30 3month sim deal.
My local Best Buy doesn't have the 15gig/month sim in stock.
In the past, I've ordered from BestBuy.com to ship to home and activated 5 months later without a problem.

This time there's no need to take that risk.
I can wait till Dec to order since activating by 1/7/22 will be within 45days of order date.
(I have a 2nd phone to activate this B3G3 offer.)

Pricing:
4gig/month: $45
10gig/month: $60
15gig/month: $75
Unlimted (but 5gigs/month hotspot): $90

Couldn't you just activate on a different phone?

I have mint mobile expiring in Feb 22, debating doing this deal.

That's a good point. As long as they don't check your IMEI after activation. I'll give it a try. Thanks!

One person answered it is for new members only. "Once you are outside of Mint Network for more than 30 days, you are treated as a new customer." I don't know if this specification is true or not though.

that's what i plan to do then put it back into my main phone.
hopefully someone would have tried this and report back before my current 3month plan expires in jan.

worse case scenario, i'll be using my old phone for this b3g3 sim.

What does this mean? It stumped me last year, too. In-store/pick up vs shipped?

I have had mint for 2 years now and I must say it's not bad. I was an OG Republic Wireless but not sure what happen with them but their data plans are no longer competitive at all.
