Yes, all consumables are new in these. From my experience and that of others, they're cosmetically 10 out of 10 as well. Can't tell them from new.

Staples hasn't had Brother refurbs in stock for many months, now. Or, for that matter, (most) new printers in stock. This is a good deal, if you've been waiting for a decent laser printer.

Thanks for offering your opinion. I posted this late last night, and was surprised this morning to see a -3 score. Tough crowd! The 2690 from a week or 2 ago, a lesser printer for $20 more, scored very well by comparison. (+24)

I know, right? And this is a really good printer. One of my friends had to pay the full retail for this very printer ($200) a month ago, because there were no other options.

OOS in my area. Well, it was good while it lasted. Still waiting for the supply chain crisis to ease up....
