Yep! When you go to redeem, it asks you how you want to split it up. You can do all on Xbox or maybe 20 on Xbox and 5 on something else. Up to you! I did the $25 and was able to successfully get $25 on my Xbox account

How does GH handle fractional payments? In other words, if my total is $27 but I only have a $25 Happy/GH gift card will they credit the $25 then collect the other $2 via another payment method or outright deny the charge?
This is pretty slick. I'm going to get the $100 version and use it to pre-order Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition.
This gift card yields the best deal on this game right now. The other promotion I'm aware of is Best Buy offering you a $10 gift card to pre-order with them. But I want to pre-order with xbox so I can pre-load it early.
If you have access to Microsoft Rewards in your country, I suggest waiting to pre-order FH5. I'm reasonably sure that they'll put up a punch card for it, and you can get 5000 or 6000 points for it (which at the best redemption value works out to an extra 5 or 6 USD in Microsoft credit)

So you would first convert the listed GC to a brand specific GC (i.e. you will eventually get GrubHub GC) and yes it can be used for partial payments

Very nice deal with the extra discover 5% back. Xbox gift cards are nice because it's the same as Microsoft gift cards and can use it for a bunch of tech hardware and software and other things if you don't game.
Can confirm target circle reward for certain dollar amount of purchases works too. Despite the fine print saying gift cards are excluded.
So you can use Xbox gift cards to buy surface tablets and laptops?
