NOW, as far as the color of the bezel is concerned, I chose the dark brown bezel even after I read feedback from another customer who said that "since the frame of the tv is already black, the dark brown bezel does not look very different." I would have to agree with that assessment. In retrospect I may have gone with the beige/birch bezel but it's up to you and how you would like to match your decor.
Btw, I paid a couple hundred more last year for the 2020 model and I like the tv—decent picture and the photo/art mode is cool to me. Especially when you turn on the auto on/off function which turns on/off to show the particular image (Samsung has a few free art pieces that are preset, you can order/subscribe for more artwork from their galleries or you can upload your own images)you have chosen as your display when you enter/exit the room.
Only issue I have with the tv itself is that because my tv is offset in the room I decided to go with an aftermarket mount that swivels out. This negates the included flush mount which also takes away from the framed picture feel and makes it look more like a regular tv. However, it also comes with a table stand which may make it appear more like an art piece—I just didn't have space to table mount it. Another great feature is the "One Connect" box which minimizes clutter by allowing you to connect multiple audio-video components to it and then attaches to the back of you're tv with a single low voltage slim cable (which I hid behind the drywall to at least get rid of any visible wires hanging from the tv).
So, because I could not use the included flush mount I might've been better off going with the QLED line but if you can flush mount it, </=$1000 for a 55" Samsung Frame w/bezel is a great deal.
I watched B the installer on youtube and he used the regular one connect wire with a tube that he ran first. Then the one connect cord was placed within the tube. Is this safe?
If I got this I would want no wires showing.
Just found a samsung one connect in wall wire for 2017 on the website and the reviews look like the cable fails often.
