Anyone mount the 2021 version themselves? After watching a few videos it looks more complicated than the 2020 models. I've mounted many TVs with normal wall mounts before. I should be ok right?
I did the 75" 2021 version myself, and it was the first time mounting a TV. Only issue is that the recommended drill bit was too small and I struggled to get the screw in. I had to go get a slightly bigger bit

Does anyone have any suggestions on the color bezel to choose? Maybe someone has one of them already and can provide feedback on how it looks in person? Thanks.
I have Brown, which is closer to Espresso, on my 49" and really like it. I'm considering getting another for above my desk/monitor setup and may choose something different

Have a 2020 75" model. 6 year old son broke the screen with an ice cube. Now it's worthless as it's not covered by warranty and part isn't available. I wish I had gotten the accidental damage protection.
my 2 year old son broke my current 65" tv with a ball. i need a new one now but was thinking about buying a piece of plexiglass at least for the next few years to cover the front of the TV. It's in a kitchen area so i don't really need to have a perfect display or anything.

I purchased the 55" from Buydig about a year ago when it was on sale with the free bezel and I purchased an HDMI. EVERYTHING (including bezel) came in one secure, insulated Samsung box that was tucked into another box—I'm assuming packaged by Buydig. The HDMI however was not in the package so I called their CS and they sent me one w/o issue. Both deliveries took about 5 days if I remember correctly. So a very legit company.

NOW, as far as the color of the bezel is concerned, I chose the dark brown bezel even after I read feedback from another customer who said that "since the frame of the tv is already black, the dark brown bezel does not look very different." I would have to agree with that assessment. In retrospect I may have gone with the beige/birch bezel but it's up to you and how you would like to match your decor.

Btw, I paid a couple hundred more last year for the 2020 model and I like the tv—decent picture and the photo/art mode is cool to me. Especially when you turn on the auto on/off function which turns on/off to show the particular image (Samsung has a few free art pieces that are preset, you can order/subscribe for more artwork from their galleries or you can upload your own images)you have chosen as your display when you enter/exit the room.

Only issue I have with the tv itself is that because my tv is offset in the room I decided to go with an aftermarket mount that swivels out. This negates the included flush mount which also takes away from the framed picture feel and makes it look more like a regular tv. However, it also comes with a table stand which may make it appear more like an art piece—I just didn't have space to table mount it. Another great feature is the "One Connect" box which minimizes clutter by allowing you to connect multiple audio-video components to it and then attaches to the back of you're tv with a single low voltage slim cable (which I hid behind the drywall to at least get rid of any visible wires hanging from the tv).

So, because I could not use the included flush mount I might've been better off going with the QLED line but if you can flush mount it, </=$1000 for a 55" Samsung Frame w/bezel is a great deal.

Been watching some youtube videos of the install of the 75in. Is there a special samsung wire that allows the one connect cord behind the wall? I would like to install this to code.

I watched B the installer on youtube and he used the regular one connect wire with a tube that he ran first. Then the one connect cord was placed within the tube. Is this safe?

If I got this I would want no wires showing.

Just found a samsung one connect in wall wire for 2017 on the website and the reviews look like the cable fails often.

For anyone not wanting to pay the $5/month Samsung subscription for art an easy way to find nice items is to use Google image search and used the advanced search option
Code:
imagesize:3840x2160
after whatever you're looking for. This will only show you images that are already the correct size to display correctly on the Frame TV.

Is the brown frame just plain brown, or does it have a faux wood grain? If it does have a faux wood grain, is it well done and look real, or is it poorly done and just looks cheesy?

My 2 month old daughter broke my current 70" 8k ultra omelet LED with a flung samovar we had left out for our guests. I got the accident insurance but it only covers drops and spills, not hurls or flings. Check the fine print! Now wishing I didn't even get it in the first place. But can't return a 2 month old to the hospital. Thinking of putting any new TV in a block of ice until she gets to college.

Does anyone know if this TV must be connected to the internet to work, or will it work ok not connected (ie just picking up OTR channels, or connected to a Roku that is connected to the net).

Thanks
