Pokemon game cards aren't really overpriced on Amazon - you can get current booster packs for about $6 shipped from 3rd party sellers, retail is $4. After shipping not even sure how 3rd party sellers are making money on those. There's not much demand for these at all.

Have you tried to get Pokémon cards anywhere not online? They have been very hard to find. The third party sellers are usually repacks or fakes.

It's very true what you said. People don't understand how hot they are. Go to the store and see what you find, nothing!!! And for Amazon 3rd party vendors? Most likely are fakes.
