Have this keyboard. If the backlight would either just stay off or on this keyboard would be at least ok. Unfortunately, as far as I know there is no way to keep the backlight on all the time, which is what a good keyboard would do. It will turn off and on as it pleases, slowly driving you insane. You can turn off the backlight, but after turning the keyboard off and on again the backlight turns again, and starts the same random on off pattern. Also, the connectivity is rated at 10 meters. At less than 10 feet I regularly, as in every day, experience disconnects. I would not purchase the MX Keys again and will probably end up destroying it one of these days in a fit of frustration and rage. The mouse is pretty dope though.

Edit: Additionally, the positioning of the FN key on this keyboard is moronic.

I'm currently writing on this keyboard. Great quality, low pressure typing/ low noise, switching between 3 PC/MAC, ambient light, nice stable heavy weight. 10/10 but I'm under extreme wrist pain after 2wks of using. see if you're using lots of Ctrl+ shortcuts, and if you actually press Ctrl with palm or 2~3 section of Pinkie. (If you have long fingers) then this is not your keyboard since this key is low profile. You need to press exact tip of pinkie which need to twist wrist outward a lot and will crash on pains. Does anybody know where i can get high profile keycap specifically for this keyboard of "Ctrl"? (Leftend keycap is rounded which is more difficult to hook my pinkie joint at corner angle ) . Aha. Also this is not Multi point bluetooth. Multi pairing. So after you pressed "2" to move on your Iphone, it delays 2 sec. Switching is super convenient but delay is ultra inconvenient.

*For office purpose not gaming, I also highly recommend MX ERGO trackball mouse, not MX Master3.

If item comes back in stock filler is NOT needed.

Add a $98.99 item to cart and add coupon.

When click "Add Coupon" the message below appears:

92864: $20 off your online order of $100 or more.
Promotion not applied: Eligible items and minimum order total are not met. You have $98.99 of eligible items in your cart. Please add $0.01 of eligible products to your cart to receive the discount.

Seems like $99.00 is the "magic number"

Ugh tried to get this in the graphite color yesterday. Had to settle for $20 more on Amazon — I think that's the only place that sells that color. Space gray and black in other channels.

Or you could buy Logitech MX Keys Mini for Business Wireless Ergonomic Keyboard for 110 - 20, msrp is higher due to included Logi Bolt dongle and 2 years warranty.
https://www.staples.com/logitech-..._IM19JP674

Beware MX Keys Mini are new devices only support Logi Bolt dongle. it's not backward compatible with Unify.

I got an MX Keys after my Microsoft keyboard 4000 started to throw additional characters. It was a great keyboard. Part of the reason for choosing MX Keys is that people discuss it a lot here. However I am questioning my choice -- I have been getting discomfort in the wrist recently, which never happened before. (I am a software engineer, I type a lot and use a lot of shortcuts every day.) Also, after temporarily using K380, I realized that not dealing with the numpad is a nice thing -- I do not use it a lot but is taking a lot of space. It is so much nicer to have the mouse close to me. I am looking at another ergonomic keyboard, hope that helps relieve the pain. Too sad 4000 has been discontinued.

Is it really that better than a bunch of 30-40$ keyboards around ?

Just got the k380 for 30$ and it is great but a bit smallish for speed typing

The MX 3 is the best mouse I've ever owned. Does the keyboard live up to the same standard?

True. I just ordered this keyboard alone for $99.99 and applied the coupon. No filler. 👍
