In for 1. Got some paint to remove around the house. Hoping it works on my brick veneer. Thanks for sharing.

These things are the best when they start throwing wire. Goes right into your skin even through clothes.

I would use chemical stripper, brick is sometimes soft and wire bristles can physically alter the brick…..

I used to use the death traps when everyone wanted to pay ridiculous amounts of money for things done in Sugi ban.

And after a long day, my letter spring would look like it was a porcupine.

Then I got a Restorer and no more. It's one of the best, easiest tools to sort with for ever kind of stripping/aging application in the universe.

My Restorer has paid for itself dozens of times over for me since everyone started paying even more ridiculous amounts of money for weathered barn beams in their house. It used to take me all day to weather one beam properly. Wire brushes, curved planers, hatchets ... my arm would be spent. Now I can do the finish do a 20ft,18"x12", 4-sided beam in an hour

Any ideas for removing wallpaper from sheetrock? Also, sheetrock has ALLOT of fine cracks. What can I put on it before painting?

They make remover for wallpaper, sometimes a steam iron will work depending how old the paper is.

As far as cracks it depends on the crack, minor surface crack, good primer and move on. If the tape is torn, digging out the old tape and re-mudding is about the only way to permanently fix.

I have never found any crack filler/spackle that didn't re-crack.

I have cheated with caulk before for a quick fix. Takes some finesse though.
