Can this be used to convert a bunch of Staples gift cards into Visa Gift cards so the funds can be used elsewhere? Or are you not allowed to buy Gift cards with gift cards?

- No, you cannot use Staples GC's to purchase these.
- No, these do not count towards your spend requirements for a premier membership.
- No, these do not earn you any Staples rewards.
- No, you cannot use coupons/ rewards to purchase these GC's.
- Yes, you can split payment between multiple cards (if your cashier permits it) YMMV
- The limit of 5 may or may not be enforced depending on your store/ cashier. YMMV
- Why is this a deal? Some members have CC's that earn 5% CB at office supply stores (INK and Amex Simply Cash). Others need to meet minimum CC spend.
- What if my store doesnt accept payment with a CC? Your store likely has had issues with fraud and it is managers discretion on what payment they will accept.
- Other chase cards may have special offers for Staples ($ limited). Check your chase account under chase offers.

Its been years since I've tried that. I think they pretty much shut that down a long time ago but I don't know for sure since my serve accounts got banned

Both $200 visa and master cards are pretty much out of stock in the two staples around me. I haven't been able to buy them for the last two promotions. Not sure if they're hidden at the back.

I know it's hard to cash these cards out, but you can use them to buy Amazon gift cards, which is what I do since we spend so much at Amazon normally.

You can just buy Amazon GCs at Staples though.

you can ask manager on duty if they have some in back. Most of the time they forget to restock.

Bought 2x of these in $100 form about 5 years back because of a slickdeal. Got them, used one and saved the other for a few months. When I was ready to use it, wouldn't work. Called support, they couldn't help. Called Staples, couldn't help. We checked balance of both $100 cards and it was zero. Goes without saying: never again for me. Even if I checked the balance immediately when receiving the cards, I don't have faith I would've gotten my money/money back.
