Agreed. My minimum for new computers is 512gb for C drive (realistically 1tb min), 1tb minimum for any additional drives.
I don't keep a lot of games on my pc but that space fills up FAST.

If you have multiple AAA type games installed it doesn't fit that much these days. Many games now are 60-120 gigs each. Some are even bigger - Modern Warfare is 200 gigs.
So Windows, formatting loss, and like 4-6 large games can fill it. If you typically play just one or two games at once and then uninstall or aren't a gamer/heavy media user, 512 isn't too bad though. Definitely good for a boot drive regardless.
