Edited....I found a decently detailed Amazon review that says although these are good they aren't quite as good as the true Nespresso super dark ones and don't have that true richness that kaazar Napoli has. I guess I'll pass.
But I am not sure how much caffeine these come with because I don't feel awake after drinking them.
Probably, that's why they are discounted, can't vouch but that's general how all groceries stores generally work with any product, near experation, put it on sale to move old product
It probably takes one store five years to collect enough aluminum to make one bicycle, so you're just recycling them so that they'll have enough aluminum to prove that they can recycle the aluminum.
Yup, I could see why using this at the office or work setting. But using it at home is just lazy, it takes a few more mins to make coffee thats way better.

Plus, you need a very good grinder. The grinder is very important. And there's a learning curve. Not difficult, but you need to learn the techniques. But together, you can clearly beat the quality of your local cafe. No joke.
I know because I went from the Nespresso capsules to a Breville machine to one of the Italian machines and the flavor with the Italian machines is utterly incredible.

Have to be incredibly fast. I was able to get 150 Peet's capsules for $24 ($0.16/ea) a few months ago. I've seen it come back a couple times since then, but they sell out almost immediately.
Turns out aluminum pods are pretty good for the environment. I didn't get K-cups for a long time because of the negative environmental repercussions of throwing away coffee in plastic pods, but if you recycle aluminum pods it's actually better impact wise than drip coffee. Here's a great article on it. https://www.wired.co.uk/article/c...-recycling
Pods are metal. No plastic wrapping. Not much waste. Others yes
