Agreed. The first thing I noticed is that it wasn't waterproof which pretty much makes it useless.

I have a waterproof bed bug encasement on my mattress, and a cotton mattress pad over that. I can't understand why anyone would need a mattress pad that isn't waterproof AND isn't cooling (this polyester is very sweaty... I know bc I bought one before I realized it wasn't cotton).
