When buying any game, you can use isthereanydeal.com to check the lowest historical price of that game. For example, Hades is a great game, which only cost 14.99, but istereanydeal.com tells me that the lowest price is $6.69. So I don't recommend buying it.
I spent an hour to search and check the lowest historical price and here is a list of games I think which worth buying for now (link is attached as hyperlink, and a sentence of why I recommend is also attached. These games are not likely to discount during halloween sale since they are not horror game):

Edit: BTW, played Arcadegeddon for a couple hours. It was very entertaining and much better than I expected for the $10 after coupon. I didn't even get a chance to play against other people and I typically enjoy that more than anything else. I don't understand the downvotes but hey that's Slickdeals sometimes.
