Since there are a lot of people (including me) who have been to locations where they have no idea how to scan the QR code (and made me pay by credit card instead), I wanted to share the locations here:
Cashier did not know how to get the QR code to work:
CA - Sacramento 1802 19th St.
Cashier was successful in scanning QR code:
please add your locations here (state first, then city)

Not sure anyone in the last thread ever found an employee that knew how to bring up the QR code for them to scan... I was going to wait until near the end, so hopefully by then, at least someone will know how to do it. Some of the fast food places here still don't seem to know how their own mobile app orders work.
Not sure what the last thread was about but in this deal you bring up the QR code on your PayPal app to pay with when paying in-store. All the employee has to do is scan the QR with their reader.
Might give this a try this weekend.

Probably targeted. Ordered panda a couple of days ago and payed with VM and didn't receive anything back in my account. When I went into settings and scrolled down to offers, I had 4 offers, (CVS, Macys, Foot Locker and Giant Eagle)
To see if the VM offer was applied to your purchase, check the transaction info in the VM app. You should see it say "Panda Express - earned Venmo Offers". Then after some days you should see a $10 payment from Venmo Rewards that says "Congrats! You got cash back at Panda Express".

Worked great. Just had to show my barcode from PayPal app. They scanned. Money got out of my linked credit card and got $10 credited into PayPal balance. Was instant!
I tried it at lunch today. I had to go inside to pay. I'm not sure if the drive-thru person didnt know what she was doing, or the drive through registers werent setup to accept the codes.
Anyone know how to the change which card to use with a QR payment? It said to go into Settings to change the payment method but for the life of me I can't find anything that changes it I can only change the preferred online payment but I don't see anything setting that changes the QR payment method. I've looked both on the app and the web site. Anyone have any ideas how to do it?
I had the same issue in the app, but I was able to change my preferred payment method on the website (it's the "in-store purchases" method when you go into settings and then open the Payments section).
Also, my [android] PayPal app just updated today to a completely new interface, and now I'm able to change the in-store purchases method from within the app. Might want to see if you have an update available.
I can click OP's link and read that page but it doesn't show up as a listed offer for me in my wallet or in the deals section.
Once you log in, scroll down the page and you should see a banner that says "Get $10 back at Panda Express". If it doesn't show up then you probably dont qualify

He's probably referring to problems others have had, including myself, utilizing the PayPal QR codes. My issue came at CVS, but I'm sure it happens elsewhere too. Unfortunately, you are at the mercy of the person behind the counter. If they don't want to bother trying to scan your phone (my issue at CVS), you're SOL. I stand by my statement that you will have better luck with a younger person that is more in touch with today's technology.

Did you see it when logged into your Paypal account on the website or in the App before trying it?
If anybody is still wondering where it appears, on paypal app in the home tab, I see right below paypal credit banner ad doesn't seem to be saved though. I saw this panda express banner in 1 out of my 3 paypal accounts.

So the question remains, will it work for everyone OR only if you see it in the App or on the website for your account, my guess is the latter.
