Since there are a lot of people (including me) who have been to locations where they have no idea how to scan the QR code (and made me pay by credit card instead), I wanted to share the locations here:
Cashier did not know how to get the QR code to work:
CA - Sacramento 1802 19th St.
Cashier was successful in scanning QR code:
please add your locations here (state first, then city)

Not sure anyone in the last thread ever found an employee that knew how to bring up the QR code for them to scan... I was going to wait until near the end, so hopefully by then, at least someone will know how to do it. Some of the fast food places here still don't seem to know how their own mobile app orders work.
Not sure what the last thread was about but in this deal you bring up the QR code on your PayPal app to pay with when paying in-store. All the employee has to do is scan the QR with their reader.
Might give this a try this weekend.

Sharing my experience in case it helps others.......
I saw the offer on PayPal when I logged on the other day but I did not see it today so I called PayPal.
PayPal told me I had to get in touch with Panda Express and gave me the phone number.
Panda Express said they had no idea why PayPal would have me call them.
I called PayPal back (by now it was the principal of it) and had Panda Express on a conference call with them. I assured them I was not playing monkey in the middle so they needed to figure it out.
Long story short Panda told me I would not have any offer listed on my account. I just had to go into a Panda and make a purchase for 10. or more and it would automatically be processed and credited back to my PP account. I was also told by Panda that if there was a problem just call them back.
I stopped at a Panda today and purchased a 10. gift card. The 10. was credited back to my PayPal account before I reached the exit.
My receipt also had a survey which took less than 2 minutes to do. The code I got to enter on the receipt is valid for a free entrée item with the purchase of a 2 entrée plate. There is no expiration date listed.
Hopefully this will answer some questions some might have.
Downloaded App and I set up my wallet prior to using. Checked the "Deals" section in my app and could not find anything regarding the deal. Scanned my QR code at checkout and I received my $10 immediately after purchasing. Total was a little under $10 before tax and still received.
*Note, my my Panda in NoHo Arts District had stickers with PayPal/Venmo pay in their glass doors up front.
Will multiple paypal accounts work for this offer if I log on from the same phone/app install and qualify?
You can use the same PayPal app on the same phone. After successfully redeeming the offer with PayPal acct #1, log out; then log back in with PayPal acct #2 credentials. And so on.
Of course, each of your PayPal accts must receive the offer to get $10 back

Unfortunately we couldn't complete your Panda Express #xxxx purchase on 10/17/2021. You weren't charged for this sale. Please contact us by logging in to your account and choosing Contact Us at the bottom of any page.
Successful DP: had the banner in my paypal account, bought for $11.85 of food (tax included), scanned the QR code (paid out of a linked credit card), and got $10 back in my paypal account by the time I got back to my car. I had already done the Venmo offer.
I hope people aren't picking a fight with the cashiers/employees in the restaurants.
If you have a gripe, hammer Panda and Paypal management (because the employee cannot).
They aren't providing the restaurants proper/adequate training, so the cashiers are "clueless" (as some callously put it).

I see the deal on the desktop site, but don't want to risk spending $10 if it won't work.
