Not sure anyone in the last thread ever found an employee that knew how to bring up the QR code for them to scan... I was going to wait until near the end, so hopefully by then, at least someone will know how to do it. Some of the fast food places here still don't seem to know how their own mobile app orders work.

Not sure what the last thread was about but in this deal you bring up the QR code on your PayPal app to pay with when paying in-store. All the employee has to do is scan the QR with their reader.

Might give this a try this weekend.

this also works with Venmo as well. it will take few days (up to a week) to get it back where paypal is instant.
got two free meal from Panda this month.

Worked for me and received the credit right away. Purchased $10 ($8.10 plate & $1.90 drink). Total came to $10 and immediately received the credit back. No issues.

I do not have the banner on mobile or desktop. I called PayPal and asked if it would work on my account. He wasn't even familiar with the promotion. I asked to be transferred to someone who was familiar with the promotion, who it's for and how it works. He offered to just give me a $10 reward instead. I accepted. I've already spent the reward at eBay, so it won't interfere. So now I'm going to roll the dice at Panda and see what happens.

Update(with all of the variables that I can think of for my specific situation): I did receive the $10 cash back w/ extra email almost immediately after purchase. Again, I did not have the banner in the app or on the desktop. I'm using Android. In my app, beneath the PayPal Credit banner is a "Raise money" banner. My app is up to date. My account is a PayPal Business account. I also took advantage of the Venmo Panda Express $10 back from $10+ promotion. I did the CVS Venmo $10 back from $20 promotion as well, however, I did NOT catch the CVS PayPal cash back promotion. This was probably my first QR purchase with the PayPal app. I linked the PayPal QR to a different card than the one I used for the Venmo QR, both were debit. I am in Michigan. I went to the same location I redeemed the Venmo offer at, because I knew they were familiar with scanning to pay.

I hope these variables provide some more insite into who gets it and who doesn't.

Also, my total was below $10 before tax, $10.28 after tax, and I used their bounce back survey receipt to remove the cost of an entree from my bigger plate, so I added an egg roll to get above $10.

Got my credit right after paying. I didnt have a banner ad and was just under $10 before tax.

It did not work. The cashier says there is a payment error and she tried three times, also asking the co-workers to help. Waste my time to drive to Panda Express.

I got this credit right away with PP after buying a $10 GC, nothing showed for me in the app prior. Did Venmo as well and waiting to see, however, that DID show as a doable bonus in the app.

Not all the cashiers were trained to do this correctly.
Another cashier in earlier shift was able to do it correctly.
So I guess it will depend on who the cashier was when you go there.

Spent $19. Actually $20 since they ask twice if you want to donate the change. The order screen shows a big banner for "Pay with Paypal & Venmo". But they kept scanning my barcode and it didnt work. Ended up paying cash. The orange chicken is delicious so was still worth it
