Not sure anyone in the last thread ever found an employee that knew how to bring up the QR code for them to scan... I was going to wait until near the end, so hopefully by then, at least someone will know how to do it. Some of the fast food places here still don't seem to know how their own mobile app orders work.

Not sure what the last thread was about but in this deal you bring up the QR code on your PayPal app to pay with when paying in-store. All the employee has to do is scan the QR with their reader.

Might give this a try this weekend.

Two days ago, found the offer in my Venmo app, clicked the offer which brought up a QR code to show the cashier, I did, payment went through fine, never received the $10. Not in my PayPal or Venmo balance, my bank account was charged the full amount. Not too pleased...

Edit: oh. Guess I need to wait longer. Other folks were saying they got their money near instantly.

4 days before you get the $10 as a credit in your Venmo account.
The bank account is charged the full amount.
That's what happened with the CVS and Venmo offer.

The link doesn't show any specific T&C to meet other than paying with the QR in PayPal (must be scanned) for the first time at Panda Express.

FWIW, I also couldn't find the offer in the mobile website nor on the app, but it still worked for me. I also did the Venmo offer for both CVS and Panda Express before and this still worked, so this PayPal promotion is separate from those and should work even if you did the other two.

I just made sure to ask the person in the drive through if their system for Venmo/PayPal was working. I've been to this location for the Venmo deal last time and it worked then, so I know the location has it, I just wasn't sure if the worker knew how to do it. They had to plug the scanner in and the worker held my phone since the cord wasn't long enough to reach the drive-thru window.

The app immediately had a notification saying payment was successful. I checked my email and right after the payment receipt, I got another email saying I got the cash back. Some others said it may take 4 business days or so to get it, though it was immediately for me.

Does not work at all. I tried and have not received any money and this location was on the list. I would not try unless you want to spend your own money.

Just did it, showed up in PayPal immediately. Offer was not in my paypal

Update: Panda Express apparently makes you feel not so great 20 minutes after consumption
