What is VA good for?
Curved is generally VA. Ips gives better viewing angles and color. VA is not as good but not bad either if you're sitting in front of it
I have S3220dgf curved with VA in my office, I also have S2721dgf with Nano IPS at home, honestly i have no complaints on VA, they are just as good as the ips for me, i do video editing and FPS gaming.

I have to read and write a lot of documents and text clarity is very important to me, which one is better for that?

Generally curved will be good for gaming but the contrast will make the text very clear. Ultimately you don't need this for what you do. You could get a lower res much cheaper monitor if you wanted.
