VA Panel.
Can we start posting this bit of info for monitors more often?

Its pretty important for a lot of us who need specific monitor types.

I have S3220dgf curved with VA in my office, I also have S2721dgf with Nano IPS at home, honestly i have no complaints on VA, they are just as good as the ips for me, i do video editing and FPS gaming.

If you're staring straight at it, you'll be pressed to notice a difference.

IPS will have accurate colors but VA has better contrast.

Curved is generally VA. Ips gives better viewing angles and color. VA is not as good but not bad either if you're sitting in front of it

Panel is only 350nits, which is a tad low imho for a 1440p res monitor. Amazon page doesn't list much info regarding specs and all the reviews are vine reviews. Dell site listing has more info at least.

Generally curved will be good for gaming but the contrast will make the text very clear. Ultimately you don't need this for what you do. You could get a lower res much cheaper monitor if you wanted.

Please take into account black smear. I thought it wouldnt be a problem and got the gigabyte g32qc and am regretting it so much. It's such a distraction especially in esports games like csgo and valorant.

It provides better blacks. IPS displays always have yellowing in the corners and display more of a lit up-looking black that looks more grey when you're in a dark room. If the lights are on, it'll look black. VA will look more black at all times. IPS has better viewing angles and generally better color, but the lack of deeper black levels has always driven me nuts. So, I'm in the minority of people who prefer VA displays.
