Nice deal. There are very rare laptops at this price range have hdmi2.0 port and thunderbolt that support 4k@60Hz on an external 4k monitor.

Had it for a month and love it so far. Can handle DaVinci Resolve just fine. This newest model has brighter screen and 100% sRGB

That's good to hear about DaVinci resolve. I would be using it mostly for Lightroom and Photoshop, nothing too intensive. Maybe some light video editing. I was worried that 8 gigs of RAM would not be enough. Do you think this would work for my needs?.

It looks like the 16GB/1TB one is a higher end model (Swift 3 vs Swift 5). Besides memory & storage, it also has a touch screen (if that is important to you) and anti-microbial coating. It may also have a brighter screen since the high end model specs 350 nits but the low end one does not.

The battery is 4 vs 3 cell. It is a bit smaller .5" in height and lighter .3 lb. It also has two USB A V3 not 1 and 1 USB A V2..

The soldered memory is far faster than SODIMM. It is LPDDRX on both of them. 4266 not 3200. So if you get upgradable memory with a different brand it will be slower memory.

So I can see why some would be willing to pay $360 more for it.
