This has cellular support while the iPad mini would need another $100 to get it. So it depends how much you need cellular. Mini is like $600 or more with the cellular add on. Plus, you need to pay for cellular so you gotta commit to this for it to be worth it. This has better battery life and bigger display while the mini is better at everything else. Mini costs $50 more than this but w/o cellular on this the difference is like $170.

If you are interested to buy iPad cellular, better to buy directly from Apple store.

Apple is having $200 carrier gift card offers if you can active with Tmobile or Verizon

Ipad mini edge: A15 Bionic chip(vs A13 CPU), 5G(vs 4G), USB-C (vs lightning), 0.66lbs (vs 1.09lbs).

Both of them had 9/10 hours battery life base on Apple's official info Smilie

I guess it is hard to find in stock but you can get $300 off if you trade in your any tablet in good condition and buy it from Verizon with a plan. If you buy a phone you get an extra $100 leaving the ipad at only $59.99

This iPad only has LTE. The mini actually supports 5G
