Interesting concept. Had never seen this before. Wonder how much is available after trial period
They run live classes frequently. We have had the basketball for two years and just got the soccer ball from this sale. It's nice because it helps your kid practice daily. If one of my kid uses one of the live sessions twice a week we feel that it pays for itself. Now that I have a second kid using it the $10 a month is a no brainer. They get some basic training and it helps them stay motivated. They usually only offer 20-25% off during Black Friday. This is a great deal. I would encourage people to get the tripod because it is half off as well and is a million times better than the standard stand.
I have this ball. We used it frequently for the past year. I can see improvements. There is a monthly fee for live and in demand classes, but one perk is that you can have multiple users. It's geared for kids, basic to advanced level ball handling

A lot of the reviews on Amazon are fairly bad. Has the app improved?

We have no issues with the app. It's a live stream and if you have bad internet it is going to be glitchy. You need to make sure you have good lighting as well. If you have bad lighting then the app won't pick up the ball. It takes some adjustments but we have been very pleased with it.
Looks interesting. Can anyone comment about age ranges for soccer and basketball?
Beyond YouTube like instruction, it looks like a cool way to track reps in an engaging way. Is this correct?
How much are the classes?
Grateful to learn your experiences.
My 6 year old uses the soccer ball and my 10 year old uses the basketball and has since she was 8. It is a great way to keep them engaged and gets daily practice in.
They usually have 5 different classes a day of varying abilities. On weekend and holidays they usually offer a couple extra classes. You do want to make sure that the class times work for you. If you don't want to pay they do offer on demand classes and I believe they have a series of the week.
So for anyone who has this: what can you do *without* a subscription?
I have the soccer ball for almost 2 years for my 8 yr old.
There are free exercises you can do for free. There are quite a few. I just wish there is an option to cast the screen on a tv instead of trying to see it on your phone/tablet.

I got the soccer ball for my then 6 yr old son. It was hard for him to follow and do the exercises. After a year and half of training in club soccer, he can follow the instructor now. Alot terms and routines the free videos do are hard if your kid has no technical skills experience. Once your kid understands what the exercises are then it's a good way for them to practice.
