Is it possible to use this TV without ever connecting it to the internet? I need a TV that boots directly to a specific HDMI input, with no menus or other junk in the way.

It should switch on in the last mode that you use by default..

Seems like ok deal but it's a small tv. I bought a 65 q80t from microcenter. Said refurb but it's brand new for $799. That was a great deal. Started looking ar q60 and q70 as a budget tv, spend a little extra and get a significantly better tv. This has hdmi 2.1 vrr, full tizen OS and not trimmed down, full array local dimming, brighter and better reflection handing. The speakers were also a huge difference. Q60 speakers I listed to were flat and tinny. Q80t has 4 speakers for 60 watts so I don't need a sound bar.

Girlfriend and a friend had bought this set, the blacks are not good in the dynamic range. Black details look crushed. A Q70 or above is best.

I bought the 70 inch version for the living room. It's a great looking TV. I have a B9 OLED in my bedrooms, I would say you are not missing out on much getting a samsung qled instead of an OLED TBH.
