As someone who was never properly taught to use floss, its importance, and had two osseous surgeries - take it from me when I say this device is a God sent.

Not a replacement for flossing but it's as close as it comes. If you love your teeth, use this in conjunction with flossing and brushing.

Get the new ones they have, 10x better imo. we tossed this model in trash once we got the new ones
Link to the new model? What's the advantage of the new one compared to this?

I have both the one listed and the Nano which is smaller that I use for travel. They both work well but the Nano has it's disadvantages. It holds less water, is louder, and it doesn't have an on/off switch on the handle. Then again, it costs less. You can get both at Costco in a combo pack for $90 or wait until it's on sale there (usually once per year) for $60 to $70.

Here is a link to the smaller one: https://www.target.com/p/waterpik...roup=49-11
Thanks for the great info 👍

its quiter, it runs stronger, the handle is better, no more stupid button thats ridiculous to turn on and off sliding it.

all around better, I bought the 2 pack from Costco on sale for like 50 bucks. had a 30 off instant savings

https://www.costco.com/waterpik-e...21954.html

after first use, I literally tossed the one OP had in trash. no regrets.

edit OP looks slightly diff than my old one, mine was teal, and didnt have the nipples on the turn knob, but still I assume (prob likely) same thing as what I had though. too similar to be diff.

I recently got the cordless advanced (handheld). Compared to the countertop model that I also have... The cordless obviously holds way less water and needs refilled much quicker, usually 2-3 fills per use. It also has a much narrower range of pressure settings with less granularity. However, it can be used in the shower, doesn't eat counter space, and is way more portable.

Perhaps this is what I need(Ed). I got the Costco 2-pack last time and was the first time using a Waterpik. I don't know if I'm using it wrong, but I was shocked at first use with all the water splashing lol. I must be missing a technique … but doing it in the shower sounds much better. Also, I guess I expected dentist level squirting .. but some of the tips and settings felt like they weren't strong enough to remove anything haha

Is this better than the same one but 2 packs from Costco?
I got the two pack from Costco just for the Nano. I use it when I travel. It was on sale last month for $69. Regularly $80.

Came here to post this but OP beat me to it! This is a great deal. I've been looking for one since my last waterpik of 10+ years quit (only bc the little water hose/tube became too brittle and broke). I was about to pull the trigger today for $67 or some bucks at Amazon and saw the price drop. Get it, you won't regret it. Great price.
The tube and handle can be replaced. They're sold on Amazon. Mold/mildew will start to grown inside the handle if not cleaned regularly with diluted vinegar solution.
