Love how they claim "high airflow" and there's very little front air intake area.

Sure, and yours is a non typical use case. Taxing the cpu with VMS is different than most users here. I've been seeing people claiming all sorts of untrue things regarding temps and running around like a case will make your components die because of insufficient airflow. In almost all use cases here on sd, almost any case is fine. If they weren't there'd be massive recalls and lawsuits.

Also, I meant to mention before, a microatx is bigger than a mini-itx case, and has more room for components to vent hot air.
In my case of my cheap micro atx in the past is rattle noise due to running 24/7 .
I bought cheap meshed front model 6 years ago. The rattle noise is killing me hahaha. Putting foam on the corners on the side panel.. and never fix the issue.

And I forked $100 is for lianli 08. Dang i was relieved and it lower down fan noises due to running lower speed than used to be in cheap micro atx. Keyword: airflow 🙃

This is my real life experience. I never believe high airflow gimmick marketing . The case needs to have good air intake effortless and exhaust fans will take the hot air out.

Again this is for my 24/7

I am not running VM🤣. Container is not VM. Just let you know

My case could be a minor in slickdeals. Just share my experiences. My O8 with e3 4 gen is still running 24/7 for 5 containers as Today.

High airflow is a marketing term. You could also buy larger fans to run at lower speed. That used to be the trick back In The day when we were all running 80mm fans.

I for one am running 2 fans in a micro atx with i7 k chip and it's silent as can be.

No and yes..
80mm fans old case was very old..

My cheap cases had 120mm fan, usually front, top and 80mm on the back, but… on the side it has 120mm fan too😄
Dang rattle noise was killing me when fans running>1000rpm

Are you running 24/7 with 60-80% processing?
I bey you 2 fans and cpu fan are screaming full speed assuming you are using pwm fans that I love too

Had been in diy mini or micro atc server. And knowing buying a great case is the key.
Cheap case (thin metal) would create rattle noise combine with minor shaking
Again…I utilize the 70 percent in average for my purposes

If you are building for fun. Get the cheap case by assuming not running 70-80% load for 24/7

I used to love newegg rosewill case. Cheap and the metal not very thin.

I am done. Have fun with cheap case. It was for me

I've built in montech cases before. They are definitely bottom of the barrel. But I do like their ssd and hard drive mounts but the metal is paper thin. Wish there was a similar deal on Amazon because dealing with Newegg when issues happen is a nightmare and that 10$ gift card makes no sense right now for what Newegg offers
