Why? Their entire ecosystem is 18v. You want the OP to provide a distinction without a difference.

I wouldn't pay this for ryobi. These are old models. The m12 fuel brushless kit was sub 100. The m18 brushed kit was just sub 100.

I do prefer the brushed drills. Too often the newer brushless ones try to rip my arm off or just break my wrist

You should put 18v in the title.

How much was it? Already have the impact drill, but need a new drill.

It was around $93 for the "hack" if you returned the "free" battery for a refund. That was a much better deal for the brushless tools though for most homeowners these will also work perfectly fine.

Off topic: can anyone recommend a brushless Ryobi drill? I don't need their new HP line. I already have a brushless driver. But having a brushless drill would be great. Sick of using the low end brushed drill I got as part of a 6 tool package.

That's correct! I don't use much but when you have the two daylight in power and performance. I gave my $39 deal drill away lol

If it last longer [brushless] the problem is that it isn't broken. And then I won't be able to buy stuff on slickdeal.

Ryobi sells 40v equipment too, also why is providing detailed titles a problem for you?
Can you send a link to one of their 40v drills?

Do you ensure every plug in device is articulated as 120v or 120-220v? If not, why do you have a problem with detailed titles?

I have a problem with adding text but not adding knowledge. 18v is data without enabling any gleaning of understanding.
