Hope the movies on the second ad aren't an indicator of how every other retailer will do things. Some of these prices are significantly higher than previous years. Disney looks to be the main offender.

Compared to last year:

Sonic the Hedgehog, Trolls World Tour, Abominable, The Grinch (2018), Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) jumped from $3.96 to $5.96 for DVD.

Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel, Toy Story 4, The Lion King (2019), Inside Out, Coco, and Onward have jumped from $9.96 to $12.96 for Blu-Ray.

Star Wars Episode XI: The Rise of Skywalker went from $5.96 for the 4K Blu-Ray to $12.96 for the regular Blu-Ray!

$6 for the Hobbit three movie collection (non-extended editions) on Blu Ray doesn't look bad. I'll probably go for that. (Those movies weren't good enough to justify $40+ for the Extended Edition collection over a $6 price, IMHO.)
