I had two cordless Dyson. Both of them just lasted a little bit more than 2 years just over the warranty period . For over $300 each, it's pretty bad value. I am not going to buy this brand anymore.

I haven't had a vacuum do such a nice job or clean the car so fast since the old Sears cannister vac from the 1960's I inherited from my grandma finally broke, and that thing made the lights dim when it ran it sucked so much power. Clearly my setup is not in any way a solution for portable vac uses, but you could duplicate it for under $80 and never match the suction power no matter how much more you spend.
Might you have a link to that adapter you purchased?

This would work well IF you don't have access to an outlet to use a shop vac. If you have access to an outlet, a cheap shop vac will work far better

If you have kids yes you need this, it's a pain to pull out a full size vacuum and plug it in to get up crumbs and the other crap they get all over the couch and other areas. Based on your response tho doesn't sound like you have kids or would know the struggle lol
