What kind of hoops did you have to go thru to have them serviced? Did they replace or repair them?

These have to be better than my wireless beats pro's… nobody can ever hear me on them and the sound quality is just ok

Buy from costco and you get free 2Yr Costco warranty. Full refund when you return your defective airpods anytime in your 2yr warranty period. Then buy a new one again from Costco.

Looks like you definitely wanna buy the AppleCare warranty with these, which you won't be able to do online for Walmart

Ok so in order to future proof our purchase against the battery issue we have to:

1. Buy AppleCare+ after buying the AirPods. All 3rd party warranties will only give you the runaround when you try to file a claim
2. Drop them In some water or something after two years or when the batteries have degraded
3. Pay the accident incident deductible for each AirPod, so $29+$29

it still ends up costing the sale price of this unit to replace it after battery degradation, and that doesn't even include replacing the charging case Frown

But you're at least ensuring that you can use them for a at least couple years every time you spend the $90.

Man it gets complicated thinking about these purchases
