how are these with android pixel phones for call quality? i read somewhere that these are the best earbuds for calls
I've been using airpods for years as an android guy (mostly pixel phones). Possibly the best option for calls in this price range. A lot of wireless earbuds in this price range have very weak microphones.
They also work just as well using one pod at a time. If you have a job where you are on the phone all day, you can switch ears if the battery dies. Calls use more power than music, I think I would get ~3 hours on a new pair of gen 2 airpods.
As an aside, if anyone finds a case that is in a red silicone cover, that's mine. I lost it some time back and have been looking ever since. The AirPods weren't in it, they were in my ears, the case fell out of my pocket apparently. Good thing I had an old case from my previous AirPods that went bad. I would like the case back however. ð
Sorry to TJ, this is a good price and seems to be the standard sale price on these. No, they don't stay on the ears as well as other earbuds and mine don't always connect right away to my phone, but for $69 and compared to other buds, these are still pretty good. At $99 there are probably better options, but at $69 these are pretty good.
I disagree. These stay in my ears better than the AirPod pros. It's really just about ear shape.
How does this compare to Samsung buds pro if connected to an Android phone?
Bluetooth support is pretty good on AirPods. Even with my non apppe devices it works well, pretty much identical. You just have to manually pair using the pairing button on the back of the case.
