I am still debating this or C1 with my friend's LG employee discount. If I were to mount it, no doubt G1, but since I am not, I have to get GX legs, which rtings complained it being not the best option. (Being 77" model will make it worse) Is anyone using G1 not mounted, or G1 = must be mounted?

No taxes for me in Missouri, but that's really just because our incompetent state government.

If not mounting I would just get the C1. Already comes with a stand which is designed to bounce the sound straight ahead.

When I look at the reviews, it doesn't seem like this offers enough over the C1 to justify the additional cost.

Are they offering the C1 with deals like this? As that would be an awesome deal.

I mounted the 77G1 on the Fitueyes Iron Base Large Swivel TV Stand S Series 80 Inch. Gives me control over height I needed to hover over my big center speaker.
