I ordered two Raybans from Woo. They were knock offs and I had to return them. Save your money and buy elsewhere.

Supposed to be free shipping for Prime members but looks like they are charging $6 for shipping/handling anyway.

If you guys 1) don't lose your sunglasses 2) have more money to spend and 3) care more about durability and quality more than brand, I recommend you wait for Black Friday. Randolph Engineering makes the best sunglasses in the world IMO, and isn't owned by Luxotica.

They offer 50% off their sunglasses on BF, only once a year. The frames are built to last a lifetime (and feel significantly sturdier than Ray Bans) and the clarity of their glass lenses is probably second to none. It was very noticeable when I wore them. They make Ray Ban look like cheap gas station sunglasses in comparison.

Their cheapest pairs go for $220, so the cheapest option would be $110+tax.

Good to know a different good brand...can you post a link to their website where they have BF sale.

Luxotica owns all top brands like Ray-Ban, Oakley, Vogue Eyewear, Persol, Oliver Peoples, Arnette, Costa del Mar and Alain Mikli, as well as licensed brands including Giorgio Armani, Burberry, Bulgari, Chanel, Coach, Dolce&Gabbana, Ferrari, Michael Kors, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Tiffany & Co., Valentino and ...So basically when you buy any of these brands you buy overpriced same brand from a sunglasses mafia...

www.randolphusa.com

Their sunglasses are all made in America too, good to support our own economy. And as you've alluded, it's not owned by Luxotica.

Anyone get their order from Woot? Ordered a pair of Oakley's and they arrived yesterday in a basic white box, no padding and the sunglasses were just in a black pouch. If I did know any better, I'd think I purchased a used pair from eBay. Very curious if this is normal

I bought a pair of Ray-bans I've never tried on before, RB4151, and was worth a shot. They had some light scratches on the frame, didn't fit great, and they felt cheap and too plasticky. Returned them today. My different model Ray-bans, RB4075, from the Sunglasses Hut I bought years ago that fit great, are still in good shape, but when I compared them to the ones from Woot, they both have a light, plastic feel. Probably just how they are made or maybe someone can chime in and knows if Ray-bans quality has gone downhill.
