You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

YMMV I was able to use a friend's account 2 different times without having to activate anything. They just handed me everything and I left.

Damn that sucks i did a trade in earlier for the first promo and only got like 615 for my trade for my pro max.

Also for the people saying they had to activate in store is false. They let me walk out the store with it sealed. All they activated was the sim card

So are you saying that you were able to use the phone on different carrier ?? Few best buy folks ask us if they need help to activate the phone or you can do it yourself. All you need to confirm is your sealed phone works on other carrier.

Well since i actually use tmobile i activated on tmobile so its locked to tmobile. But maybe if you add a verizon sim first it would be unlocked? Im not exactly sure.

It doesnt work that way. Atleast not since 2019 as far as i know. Moreover now verizon locks their mobile for 60 days irrespective of fully paid or financed. It automatically unlocks after 60 days. So now there is no other option but to use purchased carrier.

Check if you have any deal in costco for adding 2 lines. Usually they have promo of $300 per line for BYOD and the 3rd line is free. Which will be $120 per month and you will get $600 in visa prepaid card in 3 months. So you offset the price incase you get some byod deal.

Costco is still running their promotion. It's much better deal than bestbuy trade in price. Costco off 10% off stock phone price plus trade In Value. Or the $720 off 2 phones without trade in when add a line. Their current offer ends Oct 21st. Not sure if they will extend it because stock is very limited.

I'm currently still a Sprint customer, if I change my SIM to T-Mobile, will I qualify for this deal? As it is currently when I get to the Upgrade verification the system doesn't recognize my number as T-Mobile.

I got 720 for my iPhone 12 last week I thought that was great but I'm not going to be mad over 5 bucks I love the iPhone 13 pro it's awesome Smilie
