You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Hello every one quick question last year I got a 12 pro max from T mobile and I am on EIP plan for 30 months credits for the device have completed 11 months now

Can I upgrade to 13 pro and if I do will T mobile stop my credits on 12 pro max & I need to pay the remaining balance I owe on 12 pro max ?

Stupid, if you ask me. I know what they're trying to do... migrate the older, cheaper plans to Magenta. But they're forcing people who can see through this BS and purchase the money-making iPhones elsewhere. They will also start losing out on the 30-month promos, since they're not selling any. Without being "locked-in" to T-mo, it will be much easier to people to switch providers. I, for one, will not purchase another phone through T-mo if it has a promotion paid out over X-months as a bill credit. I am going to wait it out till all my credits have been applied (May '23, I think), and seriously evaluate if sticking with T-mo is worth it. I've been a customer since 2005, but their repeated data breaches and the headaches that it is causing me (with constant fraudulent bank accounts being opened in my name) is getting ridiculous.

Your EIP will remain in tack and you can trade in your IP12PM. That is exactly what I did without any issues. I think I still have like 19 or so months left on the IP12Pm that I traded in and my EIP is still working as intended.

Tmobile continues to pay your credits as long as you keep that line active. I had done 2 trade in and both phones are still under EIP. The bill just closed and nothing has changed to my account and the monthly bill.

Was worried that I missed out on a great deal. I realize that they are not discounted $100 at best buy anymore. The promotional trade-in value essentially replaced the $100 off discount ran on the new iPhone 13s

I think the deal is that other plans outside of Magenta plans can take advantage of trade-ins at great prices. Tmobile, directly, will probably have better deals, but Simple Choice/older plans may be chopped as they already are.

I think you have to place the order online since stores most likely won't have them in stock. So you are basically placing a backorder and waiting for them to ship to the store.

The discount is still the same unless you live in a state that charges tax on the full price. So you have to take that into the consideration. I live in GA. I traded 12PM for 13PM and only being charged like 8$ in tax.
