You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Seems like a great deal. I wish I could take part in it but I need an unlocked device because I use dual sim. It would be nice if t-mobile would let you unlock the phone prior to 40 days.

That's reassuring as I upgraded my 12 pro to 13 pro max under the old promo. Was wondering if this was the better deal as I hate taking a $ loss from trading in.

If anything, the mmWave antenna is an improvement on the 13 pro max vs the 12 pro I had.

You can have it unlocked by contacting tforce on twitter or fb, 3 of my pro max has been all unlocked within 2-3 days. You don't need to wait for 40 days. Just tell them puchased from bestbuy.

Yes. I traded in 2 iPhone 12 Minis still on EIP with promo credits. You have to continue to pay the EIP, of course. But Best Buy doesn't reject the trade in because the device is still on EIP.

BB doesn't have a trade-in option for the 12 Pro, so trade value is only $725. Don't see the higher value ones…or am I missing something?

It's a matter of semantics, but it may make a difference for you in terms of how your sales tax is calculated. In CA, for example, sales tax is calculated off the full price of the new item. In the case of a new promo, there would be about $7-9 more in sales tax. It's still a great deal if you want to keep current on your iPhone..
I did the previous Best Buy deal for my wife and I. Traded in iphone 12 for the equivalent iphone 13. As you said, the overall price is the same after trade in.

No need to change plans - you can keep your old phone plans. No contract or bill credit either, you get the trade in value up front. I wasn't planning to get a iphone 13... But it's $200 out of pocket for going from a 1 year old phone to a new one with no strings attached. I couldn't turn down the deal!

You can probably get a better deal if you trade in and do bill credits over 2+ years but I don't want to be tied down in case I want to upgrade next year.

You should be able to. But from the last deal, some reps were telling customers that they had to place the order online.

I personally did one in store but they charged me a $10 SIM card fee. Others did as well but didn't get charged the $10 SIM card fee
