You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

At checkout it says the amount due after trade in will be added to tmobile bill... so you can't use a credit card to pay it off at checkout?

You're doing something wrong. Are you a new or existing customer? I paid the amount due with my CC and the amount billed to tmobile said $0 on the order page.

Same deal as before, just fyi.

I bought a 13 Pro at launch from Best Buy when it was $899 ($100 off), minus $530 credit for my 128GB 12 Mini - final cost was $369. This new promo is 13 Pro for $999, and $630 credit for a 128GB 12 Mini - for the same final cost...

Still a good deal. It's an instant discount; no need to deal with bill credits over 2 years from T-Mobile, and you don't need to be on a Magenta plan.

I don't think this is a good deal since T-Mobile usually gives $1000 which I was going to do myself with my iPhone X but now I only see here it's only worth a couple of hundred now.

Just availed this offer. I had crack on back side of iphone 11 pro max but still they accepted it. Site showed trade in for $700 but at store, I got $715
Sales rep asked either I want sim in or activate it later, I asked for activate it later.

Lol no they don't. I've participated in several of their promo's over the years. For existing customers they only give you a trade in promo if you get a new line. They haven't done anything like this ever because even then, you had to accept the 30 or so bill credits. I think the only time they ever gave that much is when you are a brand customer and you switch from an existing carrier. And even then you probably still have to do the bill credits.
