I will recommend use friend t-mobile account to do the upgrade and pick up the phone, once you got the phone you can use on sprint/t-mobile.

I've placed orders successfully earlier this morning. But the last line I was doing at 1pm couldn't checkout. Removed from cart to try again, and then can't even get text verification. I give up now and want to just cancel my other orders even though they are ready for pickup

American customer service and class has gone down the drain. There is no more treating customer welcoming or at-least trying to pretend they need business. Every day every store tells the same story you will be attended when we could or not at all. Stood in best buy phone service line for 30 min while one is being helped, another really old couple also trying to purchase a simple phone finding a chair to sit and waiting patiently, I didn't see if I was before the old couple when I reached as I was standing back hoping I will get attended next. When the rep was talking to tmobile about the same deal and how to get it worked, I started noticing and moved to the front and still kept waiting to see if I get noticed or get asked if I have a quick question. After 30 min I requested the old couple if I can ask the rep a simple question if my iphone 12 qualifies for the trade since it has a dent on the phone frame. I think he do not know anything and trying to get acquainted to the whole process and said "hey man enter whatever the condition of your phone is" enter where ? Enter how? There is only one option on bestbuy to select a phone version and not to enter an IMEI or I might me missing something. This is the 2 nd store I tried to inquire how to get the deal failing both the times. Same response for the Costco deal in store. I attribute majority of it to Pandemic. I just pray normal comes back soon where businesses try to capture business from customers and really care.

Same here. I tried with my wife's number, too, it's ridiculous. TMobile won't help either.

Is the issue with tmobile or Best Buy? I called Best Buy and said they been having lots of issues with tmobile with this new partner integration. Suggested me try again in a few hours, or in a store. We'll it's been more than a few hours now. All my phones I can pickup are in different Best Buy locations unfortunately due to low inventory and this is giving me a headache. This last one is a PITA.

pickup 128GB 13 mini couple hours ago, traded in SE 1st gen. $150 bonus offer + $15 trade in price. 150 was already deducted from phone price when i reached store, trade in is just extra 15. Looks like for return, you will only get $15GC.
I placed the order early in the morning, got verification sms fast but have trouble adding phone to the cart. Waited about 30min and was able to add it to cart and checkout.
got ready to pickup within an hour.

oh best buy people can't get their sim card to activate, forced me to use my old sim. luckily the sim card i have already support 5G otherwise i will need to contact t mobile myself to activate.

Just tried to it on my wife's line and she got the text verification right away. But her line already placed the order. So this is specific to my line and not sure why its not working now, but was earlier.

This maybe a tricky one, the trade in condition selections are limited to a) whether it turns on, and b) whether screen is cracked. My old iphone turns on, has no cracks, so I'm qualified for the credit, but the the screen has burn in display issue and touchscreen does not function well. I'm clearly not at fault due to the limited selections, but would they deny the trade in credit after the purchase when they try the trade-in phone in store? Anyone has any similar experience? Thanks

How long do you have to commit to T-mobile? If I move from my carrier to T-mobile, trading a iphone 12 pro max for a iphone 13 pro max, I'll have to pay $125 + taxes. My line will move to magenta max, but what if i want to move back to Verizon or any other after 2-3 months? what happens?

absolutely no issue for me to place order. I logged in to best buy account, got my tmobile verification in a couple of seconds and was able to place my order!

Just to double confirm: No new line required, and no changes to the existing T-mobile plan? I'm on a legacy Simple Choice plan, and It seems too good to be true.
