You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

I currently have Iphone 12 pro max under EIP. I got it in May under a tmobile trade in promo and am currently receiving monthly credits for the previous trade in and have balance left. Does it make sense to use this promo? I will lose the previous trade in monthly credit right? Also I will need to payoff my device before I can trade it in right?

just keep an eye on them and insist they transfer the SIM from your old phone. I should have been more proactive since I knew better, but let it ride. That's on me.

All you needed to do was activate through the BB site. Quicker and no need to jump through hoops with offshore support. Takes less than a minute.

Like above, just ask them to give you the phone + sim after trading in old phone.. If you purchased through BB site, you can activate it yourself through purchase page.

The new sim and activation is included in price. Your old sim will likely work untill you get home.


FYI entering your phone number and last 4 SSN confirms you're a current t-mobile subscriber. Your number will transfer automatically to new sim provided once you activate it through the website.

This is what the BB reps should be doing if you let them activate it. I don't see how they can "create a new line", but I digress.

i dont think they will accept total wireless carrier, since is not in the list ( tmobile,verizon, tmobile, unlock) I also have total wireless phones that i want to trade in but there is no option to pick online Frown

After almost 2 weeks and 4 trips to the store, I still wasn't able to get text but the email verification finally came through.

the trade in value screen before checkout is the total of bonus offer+trade in price,
For SE (1st gen) is 165, inside best buy system with be $150 bonus offer + $15 trade in
In store the rep told me the phone only worth $15, which surprised me and I asked why my order show 165, then they look into it and show they have a bonus offer already include in the phone price.

1. they offer transfer data, but i didn't take it when i place order. I just backup and restore using my own computer.

2. I think so, I have simple choice plan and I couldn't get into any of those magenta deal, but this one work fine for me.

1) What I did was I did a back-up iCloud first, then went to Best Buy and wiped my phone, got the new phone, went back home and restore from iCloud back-up.

2) So far yes, I have a 2 for 100 Tmo ONE plan and it worked for me.
