You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Cheapest for single line is about $65-70 a month. Yes you can cancel after you've unlocked you just won't be eligible for tmobile promos for like 90 days

Thank you. Also my device is showing ready for pickup only on November 19th. If i create a new line now during the checkout process, the new number/tmobile account wont be activated until i pickup the device right? In other words, the billing cycle starts effective November 19th or the date by when the device is opened and activated right ?

Has anyone successfully cancelled their online order while in the store then telling Best Buy that you'll purchase instead via store purchase in an effort to get taxed on the discounted price, not the full retail price? I can save at least $50 per phone if they just taxed me on the discounted price. I'm in Northern California.

No, I tried but it wasn't an option. I figured out how it's given as a payment option for a general product but the checkout process was different for the iPhone. Not only no PayPal option but no option to designate pick up person. The pick up person was the person on the credit card used.

The devices that Best Buy sells are US Flex Unlock policy meaning in order to make it unlocked it has to be activated on US carrier and then unlocked by that carrier request to Apple. If salesperson tells you otherwise you can Google this and see how many people got screwed thinking that it comes unlocked.

I ordered from my local store the night before. It showed it had 2 in stock. Woke up this morning the order was cancelled. Went back online to reorder and within an hour, order was ready for pickup. I didn't do anything different with the online order process.

Side note, when you go to the store to pick up your phone, make sure you can restore your new phone from iCloud. BB will charge $40 if you want to do the phone to phone data transfer. Something about once you handed your old phone back, it is BB's property and in order to transfer the data to the new phone, they'll have to have an associate to hang around the phone during the transfer.

Wait so you are saying that if you order online you pay tax based on price of phone but if you order in-store you pay tax on after discount price?

Setup your PayPal Key and use that. That's how I did it to take advantage of the 5% Freedom categories along with the additional 4% bonus.
