You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Maybe, but I had completed an order yesterday for what the BB site said was the last 128gb red iphone 13 in the local store, then got that same cancel email - today I put through the same order for the same phone, again it said it was the last one, today it sailed through no problem. I think the BB system was borked for a while, and the fix is to just put the order through again until it works.

I went to BB and placed the order and got 550 for iphone11 tradein. While receiving the phone i casually asked if this phone is internationally unlocked , i mean can i use this phone outside USA with some other country sim card. Rep said no i can't. It is only unlocked for carriers in USA and not outside. Was the Rep correct?

I just got Carrier and SIM lock status check report for my 13PM, it says SIMLock Status as Locked, does this mean SIM is locked to TMO or to the first carrier SIM you put in the phone?

It's a world phone. It's either SIM restricted or not. If it's restricted to your current carrier it's blocked for anyone else, if it has not carrier restrictions you can use it everywhere. These days the LTE bands are very global and you should not have any issues depending on the country once you paid the phone in full and have it carrier unlocked.

Compare the US phone LTE bands with your target country and if they overlap all is well, e.g. the destination bands are all included in the US version.

If you ported your line recently or added a line to account, it takes from 4 to 24 hours for T-Mobile account to "stabilize" and start sending those verification codes again. I ran into same problem twice in last 2 days and no t-force folks were able to fix that.

I'm gonna take my chances and try unlocking the phone via Twitter (before 40 days of service)...and then I'll try canceling the service. 😉 *fingers crossed*

I had an iPhone 11 to trade in and I was interested in the Pro Max (available for pickup Nov 26th), so I opened a new T-Mobile account to qualify for the new activation discount ($65/mo plan).

I also had $100 in Best Buy gift cards to use, so the final out-of-pocket cost will (hopefully) be around ~$600 (including the 1-month of service).

I don't think this is too bad for an (*unlocked) iPhone. Does anyone know of or suspect that there will be a better deal? 👀

Anyone able to go to store and order a phone that's not available in nearby stores for pickup in few weeks? I'm looking for silver pro 128gb and its not available in 250 miles radius. Wondering if BB rep can order from their system?

I didn't go to a store, but they didn't have anything I wanted near me per their website, but did allow me to order something for pickup at a nearby store with an ETA of 11/19. I figure I can always cancel if a better deal comes up by then but I chose to jump on this deal in case it ends and I regret it Stick Out Tongue

T Mobile is shit, now they include existing costumers? too late! took our 6 line to AT&T plus they gave us $800 bill credit for our XR not $420.
