You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Best Buy only has the Minis. No Pros or regular 13. You can get them probably after thanksgiving, but they probably won't have the deal anymore.

Call T-Mobile and ask for the same deal. They are entertaining for all post paid and pay you the same trade-in price for the old phone and all models of new phones are available.
To sweeten the deal... Free S&H both ways.

They are NOT double taxing you. Many states require tax on the purchase price of the new item. The trade-in is just a partial payment.

Yes, i placed the order online! And no, the rep did not adjust my taxes. The taxes quoted on my online order was correct. The rep said whatever the amount is when you checkout online/on the confirmation e-mail is the correct taxes. They taxed on the price of the remaining amount of the phone and not the full device. So i paid $11 for taxes

I tried 3 times last night online and was unsuccessful at getting through the checkout process for an IPhone 13 on T-Mobile. During the payment processing step I would get a failure message with no details. I even tried two different credit cards and was able to verify temporary authorizations all three times with my credit card companies.

I decided to go to BB when the store opened this morning and I was able to get the deal in store. Traded in an iPhone SE I paid $200 for in a previous Walmart deal and received $380 off the IPhone 13. They charged me $9.99 for the sim which I wasn't happy about, but at this point I consider the transaction a win. I don't think they charge for the sim of you can get the order to go through online.

If you do the deal in store for T-Mobile, make sure they start the process off by initiating the purchase first and the trade in second. Otherwise the $200 bonus trade in value didn't show up.

I tried to trade in an XR and tax on that $480 sale was $35…tax on my $350 sale was $42. That $7 difference corresponds to about $115. Whatever they are doing is mighty in inconsistent (incidentally the promo discounts were $215 and $190).

I submitted unlock request via twitter 2 days ago. Right now the "carrier lock" shows "SIM locked". My old unlocked iphone shows "No SIM restrictions". If my new iphone is unlocked successfully hopefully tomorrow, will the info automatically change to ""No SIM restrictions", or need I do something? I don't have a SIM from another carrier to test.

I spoke to a BB "mobile specialist" and he could not explain the tax inconsistencies.

Question: specialist told me that I could not change plan after activating and that even though the phone could be unlocked (after 90 days) I would still be locked into a contract. There is nothing on BB's website that indicates a contract, it simply says unlock can be after 40 days.

I keep getting "Sorry, there was a problem. Please try that again" whenever I click on the Continue to Payment button during online checkout.
Does that mean the deal can only be done in store? A local store shows stock of 1 available.

Edit: Finally went through after multiple attempts. Hopefully it does not get cancelled.
