You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Yep, I considered trading an unlocked s21 last week for $625 credit, but traded a locked iPhone 12 instead. I'm still considering the s21 trade but the lower $600 value is a bit of a let down. Still not too bad I guess for the s21 since it's only a $25 loss.

Can I trade in my iPhone 12 if I still am paying it off through T-Mobile? I got the 12 for $600 from trading in a phone. If I pay off the phone in full, I lose the bill credits and would be paying full price for the phone (at this point $725)

I'm facing a little hick-up when it comes to unlock the iphone. First iphone unlocked without any problems when Tforce said it was approved and the "sim locked" changed to "no sim restriction" within few hour without me doing anything to the phone. However, the 2nd iphone was approved on Nov 2nd and right now it still showing "sim locked"

1. If you have a SIM card from a carrier other than your current carrier
Use these steps to finish unlocking your iPhone:
Remove your SIM card.
Insert the new SIM card. Your device will activate.

2. If you don't have another SIM card to use
Use these steps to finish unlocking your iPhone:
Back up your iPhone.
After you make a backup, erase your iPhone.
Restore your iPhone from the backup you just made

I tried the step 1 and it didn't work. Iphone said sim card not supported.

I haven't tried step 2 yet. Has anyone here tried step 2 yet? TIA

Times seem to vary pretty widely on how long unlocks take. My second one I submitted on a Wednesday night and it wasn't unlocked until the following Tuesday. It didn't end up automatically switching to no restrictions, but I did put another carrier SIM in and then restarted and that did it. The first one switched to no restrictions without any action by me after a shorter period of time.

I requested on Sunday and checked in with Tforce on early Friday morning for status, and they said it was approved on Nov 2. I followed step 1 and it didn't work but I haven't tried the step 2 yet because didn't have time to do all that. Sorry if this was already covered, but if you are unable to do this deal due to lack of availability (no Best Buy stores within 250 miles of my location have an iPhone 13 pro in-stock) is there alternative way to get this?

Update: Since there are no in-stock phones, it looks the deal has changed to allow you to order for delivery AND get credit for your trade-in. Only difference is that the trade-in value for a iPhone 11 128gb dropped from $550 two weeks ago to $540.

I think you're mistaken. How would the trade in work if the 13 is shipped home? It's not possible.

I seriously doubt that Best Buy would first apply a trade-in credit to an online purchase and then allow an individual to later trade in a phone on the honor system after the 13 had been already shipped to the buyer.

In fact, I just tried what you suggested ordering for home shipping in conjunction with a trade-in, and received an error message at the last step of checkout that reads "Only available for store pickup." So that method does not work.

Is anyone able to extend the pickup date? My phone arrived early and i will be out of town until pickup by date. I called BB support nd they said they cannot extend the pickup by date.

Got 4 iPhone 13 Pro Max at different stores in Bay Area.
If you are seeing $10 charge on new sim cards, tell the rep you want to use the old one .
I was not aware of that $10 charge until I picked up the 3rd one.
My old sim cards from iPhone 12 work exactly same as the new one.
