You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

If I have a Boost phone I wonder if it is too early to say "ATT?" They were partnered with Sprint/T-Mobile but announce moving forward it will be ATT and their own custom network.

That I'm not sure, since I have Tmobile/Sprint phone lol. You could try and report back. When I went to BB to picked up the phone, I don't even think the guy cared what network the phone on. He barely even looked at the phone and asked for my information for the trade in (they required your address, phone number, etc. ) to processed the trade in. And I was in-n-out in 10 mins.

When you pick up the iPhone, do you have to open it up? I'm trying to trade in my old iPhone 11 Pro Max to get and iPhone 13 pro which will be for my gf for Xmas

My 11/26 Pro Max order cancelled 4 days ago. Ordered another for 12/10. Walked into the Lincoln Center Best Buy (#1448) and got a blue 256gb in about 45 min from Emely. Cancelled the 12/10 order. They got a few 256gb Pro Max in stock yesterday apparently.

You don't have to open. Most reps will ask if you need help with activation. Just tell them you will be doing that at home, faster and easy. They just hand you the phone when you tell them that.

Very true. I had a total of 6 tradeins. The tradeins were from tmo, ATT, US cellular (chose ATT). BB reps were just checking the IMEI and the costmetic. Entire process was like 10-15 mins.

Did they swap out the sim card for you?
How about the old data on your iPhone? Did you transfer to the phone before turn it in to BB?

You will give them your tradein at the time of pickup the new phone. BB reps will check to see if there is any crack. To make the process easy and faster, backup your iPhone to pc, mac, or icloud. Logout apple ID. When rep give you your new phone, press reset on your tradein and walkout. Setup your new phone with your backups that you made earlier.

The phones that I tradein already been backup to my pc and icloud. Just press reset 1 last time when they hand me the new phone. They asked if I need help with activation, told them NO. Went home, pop in the old sim and restore the iPhone from my backup.

Questions for the more experienced with these deals...I am currently on Visible and was able to pick up a 13 Pro Max this evening with a trade-in of my iPhone SE 2020. The rep at BB didn't put the T-Mobile SIM card in and activate it (the new iPhone never left the box). Given that I really didn't want to stay with T-Mobile anyway, I have the following questions:

- Can I just put in my old Visible SIM and keep going as I had been? I had selected to transfer my number when adding the new iPhone to cart. Will that mess anything up?

- If the new T-Mobile SIM is never inserted/activated, does that mean I don't ever have to pay T-Mobile for any service?
