You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Since the deal started, Tmo unlocked within 5-7 days after submitting requests with Tforce via FB or Twitter. I able to unlocked 3-13PM within 7 days after requested. But now they're cracking down and say the device has to be active for up to 40 days to get it unlocked. Which is their standard unlock policy. I don't have ATT and don't want to activate and risk being lockout for couple months and can't use the phone.

There is no option for alternate pickup person when purchasing phone. Doesn't have to be the account holder to able to pickup. The person on the CC billing is the one that able to pickup.

Take a look at my post history. I just called 1800TMOBILE and asked to sign up for this type of account. When they asked for ssn I made sure it was a soft pull, and they confirmed. They also did ask for my driver's license number.

Good info, thanks. Still seems like plenty of people are having success. Could be different than the last time I did this deal, but at that time I traded in a phone that I had just factory reset. So without going through the initial setup, they couldn't get the IMEI or anything...and the guy doing the trade couldn't have cared less. He spent all of 3 seconds making sure the phone turnwd on and the screen was in decent shape. If it doesn't work, I can always just return.

my BB order is already ready, so I'll give this a shot the day my straight talk phone shows up.

Really don't get why a phone that costs this much is considered a slick deal.
I get them for well under $100, and that includes enough minutes to get me through a year.
