You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Never trade in for GC before. So just go to the mobile counter and tell them that I wanted to trade in for GC?

Just picked up my 13 trading in my Note 20. Did y'all know that you have to transfer the data in the store? Best Buy won't let you take the device home and send your device back later. Also, they require in store migration service which is $40. Had I known this, I would have gone to Costco. I must've missed this info on this mega thread.
