You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Then go to a tmobile store or costco add a line and then come to best buy and upgrade the line to get this deal.

What trade-in receipt do you mean? I picked up several orders and didn't get anything other than the pickup label they stick on the box. The trade-in information is just part of the checkout process at the register.

Yes, existing customer. I tried it at one store + from home (i.e. online) and got the same issue. Last night went to a different best buy store and he was able to get through.
