You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Opened my 13, inserted deactivated ATT sim and started the phone. Did nothing post that; and got that error.

At&t sim unlock method worked instantly. Used old at&t prepaid sim.
Thought of purchasing the Tmobile plan on yesterday. But this technique saved me lot of money.

If you have already inserted a different carrier's sim into the iPhone, you will have to unlock through the other carrier. AT&T sim must be the first sim inserted in order for this to work.

Don't ask if you can insert your active AT&T sim, we don't know. You can try and let us know if it works for unlocking.

Do we need to cancel the line with T-Mobile? Or was it just the Tmo SIM being activated but no line yet with T-Mobile? I never inserted the Tmo SIM at all.

If I have 4 existing T-Mobile lines, upgraded all 4 with StraightTalk iPhone 12 minis but I have a 5th iPhone 12 mini suggestions on how to trade it in at BB?

I would rather not open a new line, unless I'm able to then cancel it right away/next day with minimal $?

Can't use paypal checkout. Pp key yes if you have one. It links with chase freedom for 5%. Another way to get around if you have PP BB 25$ offer is to buy $250 BB eGC and used that to pay for your phone. Same concept.

Maybe use a new sim since it didn't activate properly. That's why IMEI isn't on ATT database yet.

No I do not have the at&t account. Please follow the procedure mentioned in couple of post before. As I mentioned, i have used old at&t prepaid sim. I am not sure the active sim will work or not. So i recommend to use only the non-active sim

Went to pick up my phone today. Dude was pretty insistent he had to activate the sim. So I came out with a tmobile locked phone Frown , was really waiting to go the att prepaid route to activate it.
