You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Good question, simply popping in the sim doesn't lock the phone. It has to be activated too.

As others have already stated this has nothing to do with this deal or thread, it's regarding trade ins directly with TMobile not bestbuy.

T-Mobile was offering me $800 for my iphone 12 mini but only if I was on magenta max plan I said no thanks and went back to bestbiy to get my $630.

Man I have done 6 of these trade ins the last 2 days and they were smooth as hell. BBY looks over everything and no chance of rejection.

Got the 13 Minis in 128GB since that was best value, $70+tax. Colors varied depending on stock in store, so I got 2 Blue, 1 Midnight, 2 Starlight and 1 Pink. Facebook marketplace for sale in cash.

Keeping one Starlight for future trade-ins and because it's such a nice color.
